When first excavated, there was a painted graffito written in red on the left pilaster of the entrance doorway -

Cn(aeum)  Helvium

Sabinum  aed(ilem)  o(ro)  v(os)  f(aciatis)

L  Ceium  Secundum  IIvir(um)  o(ro)  v(os)  f(aciatis)

Recepta nec  sine thalamo   (CIL IV 1083)

According to Cooley,

I beg you to elect Cn. Helvius Sabinus aedile and L. Ceius Secundus duumvir, Recepta and also Thalamus. (CIL IV 1083)

Della Corte said this part of the grand house was the rustic part, containing the stables and the dormitories for servants.

This dwelling was possibly under the vigilance of a procurator (or manager) called Thalamus, and his companion called Recepta.

He said the recommendation was found to the right of the entrance.

Also Cooley says somewhere on the wall of the south side of the insula I.4, the following recommendation was found:

Helvium

Sabinum

aed(ilem) Dormis    [CIL IV 2993t]

She translates this as

Wake up and vote for Helvius Sabinus for aedile   (CIL IV 2993t)
